Full Curriculum Vitae (here). Post-doctorate in Accounting and Finance at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT / USA). He has been Visiting Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT / USA) (voted the World’s Best University by the Times Higher Education Ranking) and at the Ludwig Maximilians Universität München (LMU-Munich-Germany – Best German University, according to the Best Global Universities US News Ranking). Full Professor in Accounting at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, where he entered as the first place in the competition for an effective professor. Ph.D. in Administration (UFRGS), with a sandwich doctorate program at Freie Universität Berlin (Germany). During his graduation, he studied for two semesters in Dortmund Universität (Germany). He did a trainee program at HL-Planartechnik GmbH in Dortmund (Germany). He got the Edmon Nader Award for Best Monograph at the end of the undergraduate course. Among his publications, there are articles in renowned congresses and in journal qualified as A1, A2, and B1. Among his artistic productions, he participated in the recording of 13 CDs, 2 DVDs, created 18 musical arrangements, recorded 3 soundtracks for short films, was the leader of cello players and orchestra soloist, conducted state tours and one international tour. In 2012, he received the 1st. Place in the National Jabuti Award 2012 (from the Brazilian Chamber of Books), with a book chapter based on his doctoral thesis. Proficient in English (TOEFL), German (DSH), Spanish, and has a basic knowledge of French. Has as current research interests in Quantitative Methods Applied in Accounting and Finance, Valuation, Capital Markets. He acted as Research Coordinator of the Socioeconomic Center (UFSC), President of the UFSC Congress of Controllership and Finance, and member of the University Council. He is a member of the Permanent Commission of Culture of UFSC, reviewer of the Journal of International Business and Economics, Creativity and Innovation Management, International Economics, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics. Altogether, he got 37 awards, 97 articles published in scientific journals, 2 published books, 2 book chapters, 105 works published in national and international scientific congresses.
